Passport and Visa

Chinese and English are the official languages.
Currency
The local currency is the Hong Kong Dollar (HKD). Major credit cards are widely accepted and can be used at ATMs.

Transportation
An Octopus card, which provides access to all public transport (MTR, trams, buses, ferries, and taxis), can be purchased at the MTR Service Centre. Electricity
Hong Kong uses two plug types: Type D and Type G, with a standard voltage of 220 volts AC at 50Hz.
