Call for Abstracts

The Organizing Committee of the International Conference on Life Education and Well-Being (ICLEWB) 2025 cordially invites you to submit abstracts for oral or poster presentations. Abstracts must be submitted through the online Abstract Submission Portal. We invite you to share your expertise and work with colleagues and peers. Topics we are looking for:

  1. Well-being across the lifespan 

  2. Impact of life and values education on positive life values and well-being 

  3. Role of interventions and therapies in promoting health and well-being 

  4. Impact of physical activity on health and well-being 

  5. Role of information technology and artificial intelligence in promoting life values and well-being 

  6. Other topics related to life education and well-being

​​​​​​​Submission Guidelines:

 

  • Abstracts must be submitted via the online abstract submission system. 

  • The presenting author must be a paid registrant of the conference. The presentation will be removed from the conference program if the presenting author fails to pay the registration fee before the deadline. 

  • The title should be concise and reflect the content of the abstract. 

  • The abstracts in (250–300 words in English or 300 words in Chinese) should be structured as follows: 

    • Background/Objectives: Provide the rationale and aims of the work. 

    • Methods: Describe the study design, participants, and analytical approach. 

    • Results: Summarize the key findings. 

    • Conclusions: Discuss the significance and implications of the work. 

  • The abstract should NOT contain tables, figures, appendices, or references. 

 

Submission Policy:

  • Individuals can submit only ONE abstract across all submission types (oral presentation or poster presentation) in any role as a presenting or first author. There is no limitation in participation as a co-author across all submission types. 

  • The author who submits the abstract will receive all communications and decisions regarding the abstract and is responsible for updating co-authors on its status. It is important to ensure that emails from iclewb@eduhk.hk are not marked as spam to receive our updates. If you want to change the abstract’s contact person, please email the Conference Secretariat (iclewb@eduhk.hk). 

  • The content of the abstract contents, including the names of the authors and their affiliations, will be published exactly as submitted. The authors are responsible for ensuring the abstract's accuracy, including verifying spelling, grammar, and scientific findings. 

  • To withdraw submitted abstracts, authors should contact the ICLEWB 2025 Secretariat (iclewb@eduhk.hk).

Submission Type: 

​

  • Oral presentation: Oral presentations allow the authors to give an approximately 15-minute oral presentation of their research at the conference. The Scientific Committee will review and group submissions into different oral presentation sessions, each including three to four presentations. Oral presentation submissions will also be considered for poster presentations unless authors opt not to be. 

  • Poster presentation: Poster presentations provide interactive discussion between presenters and attendees. Thus, authors should be present at the poster session during the designated time. Further details will be announced in due course.

Important Notes: 

​

  1. Once an abstract has been submitted, it cannot be modified. However, if any error is discovered in the submitted abstract, the author may submit a written request to the ICLEWB 2025 Secretariat (iclewb@eduhk.hk) to modify or withdraw it.  

  2. By submitting the abstract, you consent to its publication in all conference materials (e.g., programme booklet, conference website, etc.). 

  3. The author must affirm that they are the sole owner or have the necessary rights to all the information and content provided to ICLEWB 2025 and that the publication of the abstract does not infringe upon any third-party rights, including intellectual property rights. 

  4. The author grants ICLEWB 2025 a royalty-free, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, translate, distribute, and display their abstract and presentation content. 

 

 

How to Submit:

  1. Register: Create an account on our platform. 

  2. Prepare Your Abstract: Follow the guidelines and prepare your abstract. 

  3. Submit: Complete the submission process, including uploading your abstract and any required documents. 

  4. Review Process: Our expert panel will thoroughly review your abstract. 

  5. Notification: You will be notified of the acceptance status by 15 August 2025 (Friday).
