

Biography
Susan Bögels is a professor in Family Mental Health, with a specific focus on Mindfulness, at the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. She is also a psychotherapist trained in CBT and family therapy, and a mindfulness trainer. Her research is about the intergenerational transmission of psychopathology, fathers, neurodiversity, anxiety disorders, and the (cost)effectiveness of mindfulness in a family context. She has developed the Mindful Parenting programme, and the MYmind programme (mindfulness for youth with neurodiversity and their parents). She teaches Mindful Parenting and MYmind to professionals worldwide. She also provides mindfulness retreats worldwide on the topic of Parenting our Selves.
